Tracy graduated from London Guildhall University in 1995 with a BA (Hons) in Economics Studies with Psychology and swiftly qualified as a mortgage adviser. She went on to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status in 2018, attaining the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning with the Chartered Insurance Institute, widely recognised as the gold standard of technical excellence in the UK financial planning profession.
She also holds the specialist Long-Term Care Award, reflecting her commitment to supporting clients at every stage of life and helping them plan with confidence for both their immediate and longer-term needs.
Before becoming a practising independent financial adviser in 2002, Tracy developed her expertise advising on mortgages and gaining valuable firsthand experience in administration and paraplanning within a number of independent advisory firms. This strong grounding gives her a well-rounded perspective on every aspect of the advice process and the importance of clear, carefully considered financial planning.
Tracy specialises in pensions and investments, with a particular emphasis on creating comprehensive, long-term financial plans. Every recommendation is carefully tailored to her clients’ objectives and aligned with their attitude to risk, timescale, and tax position. She especially enjoys guiding clients as they approach retirement, helping them turn accumulated pensions, savings and investments into the capital and income they need to support the life they want.
Her wider areas of interest include advising later-life clients, collaborating with trustees, deputies and attorneys, and inheritance tax planning.
Tracy takes a truly holistic approach to financial planning, considering every aspect of a client’s financial situation so that the advice she gives is always clear, suitable and in their best interests. She is passionate about delivering a highly professional yet personal service and prides herself on making technical matters clear, accessible, and free from unnecessary jargon.
Her focus on ensuring investment strategies remain appropriate, both at outset and over the long-term, is one of the reasons why so many of Tracy’s clients have loyally remained with her for many years. Her annual review service helps keep each financial plan on track by assessing progress against long-term objectives, reflecting taxation and regulatory developments, and capturing any changes in clients’ circumstances or goals so that their plan continues to evolve with them.
Away from work, Tracy loves to keep active, with running, walking, and kayaking among her favourite pastimes. To unwind, she enjoys spending time with friends and family and soaking up the atmosphere at live music events.
