Kevin holds the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, the Certificate in Mortgage Advice, and the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) Diploma, accredited by the EIS Association. He is a longstanding member of both the Personal Finance Society and the Chartered Insurance Institute, reflecting his ongoing commitment to maintaining high professional standards, continuous technical knowledge development, and delivering informed and client-focused advice.
Kevin has worked in financial services since 1993 and brings more than three decades of experience to his role as an Independent Financial Adviser.
Before joining Throgmorton, Kevin spent several years as an adviser at a leading wealth management firm. Prior to that, he successfully ran his own independent financial advisory practice for twenty years, developing a strong reputation for providing trusted advice to private individuals, families, and corporate clients across Hertfordshire and London.
Earlier in his career, Kevin held roles with several leading UK banks and insurance companies. This breadth of experience has given him a well-rounded understanding of the financial services sector and the diverse needs of clients at different stages of life and business.
With over thirty-three years’ experience in financial services, Kevin possesses deep expertise across both personal and business financial planning.
His core areas of specialism include wealth management, retirement planning, pension strategy, estate planning, and inheritance tax mitigation - areas in which he has an exceptional command of an increasingly complex regulatory and tax landscape.
Kevin works closely with clients to navigate the intricacies of financial planning, ensuring that his advice is carefully tailored to their individual circumstances and long-term objectives.
Kevin places great importance on building lasting client relationships based on trust, clarity, and a genuine commitment to understanding each client's long-term financial goals. His approach is highly personalised, practical, and outcome-focused, with a strong emphasis on helping clients achieve financial security, independence, and confidence in their future.
He takes particular pride in helping clients plan effectively for retirement, including supporting those who wish to achieve financial independence and, where possible, retire earlier than they may once have thought achievable.
Outside of work, Kevin is married with two children. A former footballer, he retains a deep passion for the game at all levels and is a devoted supporter of Wealdstone FC. These days, his sporting pursuits extend to running, tennis, and golf. He is also an enthusiastic fan of soul and dance music from the 1980s and 1990s, and can regularly be found at live music events throughout the year.
